About the event

Ascona is more than its picturesque lanes, colourful lakefront, famous events and Mediterranean atmosphere. Behind the village's best-known image are stories, surprising anecdotes and people who left a lasting mark on the place.

The Ascona History Travel Tour shows the town from a new angle and uncovers some of the secrets of its past. The tour is free, but you must book online.

The group meets at 10:05 in front of the Ascona information office, Viale Papio 5. The tour starts at 10:15 and ends at the Museo Parrocchiale at 11:45 or 12:00. The route is easy and the group is limited to 25 people. The guide may stop or cancel the walk in bad weather.
