About the event
The Cinema Teatro Sociale in Luino shows two films over the All Saints weekend: Mammina and Primetime.
Mammina follows Bela, an 8-year-old girl who lives in a house with marital problems. A sinister entity comes out of her wardrobe. She calls it "Un'altra mamma" (another mother), and it becomes more and more threatening to her and her family.
Primetime is a 2026 film directed by Lance Oppenheim, in his first feature. It is based on Luke Dittrich's 2007 Esquire article "Tonight on Dateline This Man Will Die" and tells how the controversial TV series To Catch a Predator was made. Robert Pattinson, who is also one of the producers, plays presenter Chris Hansen. The cast also includes Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo and Phoebe Bridgers.
