About the event
The 28th edition of this well-known Ticino show takes place from 17 to 21 March 2027 in the Parco delle Camelie in Locarno. The exhibition is carefully curated and presents more than 200 varieties of camellias.
The park covers 10,000 square metres on the shore of Lake Maggiore. It is part of the "Gardens of Switzerland" circuit and holds the "Garden of excellence" mark awarded by the International Camellia Society to gardens with the most significant plant collections. It is home to over a thousand plants and almost as many camellia varieties, which are in full bloom between March and April.
During Camelie Locarno the park also hosts floral installations, a bar and the traditional plant market. As every year, there are accompanying events: the traditional camellia concerts.
