About the event

The exhibition at the Biblioteca Ceretti celebrates the centenary of the Intra–Premeno railway, which ran from 1926 to 1959. This historic little green train was designed by the engineer Alfredo Pariani.

Sixteen panels with coloured period photographs, documents and maps retrace the history of the line, which was powered by the Ramello power station.

The exhibition was curated by Guido Canetta, Antonio Garlandini and Paola Giacoletti.
